Downtown Whitehorse on the banks of the Yukon River

A new home for St. Nikolai of Zhitsa Mission:  We have now started holding services at our new location at 4040 4th Avenue in downtown Whitehorse.  There is still some painting and finishing left to complete after Bright week, but our space is safe and usable and a wonderful blessing for us.  Thank you to those who contributed time and energy and finances to making the move possible.

Please remember your ongoing support of prayers, attendance and finances as we make “the Wharf” (as it was known in a former life) our new home.

Additional information regarding services is noted on our Schedule page.

Please feel free to come and join us!

It is our goal to one day build a temple for the glory and worship of God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – according to the Orthodox manner. Traditionally, Orthodox Churches are constructed as expressions of true theology and prayer.

We do not know yet exactly where or when this dream will come to fruition, but we humbly ask God to bless this effort to lift high the Holy Cross and give glory to Jesus Christ in the Yukon!
