Schedule of Services

The Mission uses English and follows the New Calendar. Services are held every weekend, with Vespers on Saturdays at 5:00 PM and Divine Liturgy on Sundays at 10:00 AM, with Hours starting at 9:40, unless otherwise indicated. A potluck lunch usually follows Divine Liturgy unless otherwise indicated.

Wednesday evening March 6 – 7:00 Akathist Service.

Saturday evening March 9 at 5:00 Great Vespers.

Sunday morning March 10 – Divine LiturgyForgiveness Sunday– Hours 9:40, Divine Liturgy 10:00  with potluck lunch following the service – no meat or fish please. Cheesefare Sunday – last day for eggs and dairy before Great Lent.

** Monday March 11 start of Great Lent and the Lenten Fast.

Wednesday evening March 13 – 6:00 Presanctified Service. Fast after light lunch for receiving Holy Communion.

Saturday evening March 16 at 5:00 Great Vespers.

Sunday morning March 17 – Divine LiturgySunday of Orthodoxy and Commemoration for St NikolaiHours 9:40, Divine Liturgy 10:00  with Festive Lenten potluck lunch following the service – no meat, eggs and dairy please – fish ok.

* Wednesday evening March 20 – 6:00 No Presanctified Service this even as Fr. John is away.

Saturday evening March 23 at 5:00 Great Vespers.

Sunday morning March 24 – Divine Liturgy for Annunciation – moved from March 25 – Hours 9:40, Divine Liturgy 10:00  with Festive Lenten potluck lunch following the service – no meat, eggs and dairy please – fish ok.

Wednesday evening March 27 – 6:00 Presanctified Service. Fast after light lunch for receiving Holy Communion.

Saturday evening March 30 at 5:00 Great Vespers.

Sunday morning March 31 – Divine Liturgy for Veneration of the Precious CrossHours 9:40, Divine Liturgy 10:00  with Lenten potluck lunch following the service – no meat, fish, eggs and dairy please.
