Schedule of Services

The Mission uses English and follows the New Calendar. Services are normally held every weekend, with Great Vespers on Saturday evening at 5:30, and Divine Liturgy on Sundays following the Reading of the Hours starting at 9:40, unless otherwise indicated.

February 14, Saturday evening – Great Vespers at 5:30.

February 15 , Sunday morning Divine Liturgy for Meatfare at 10:00. Hours starting at 9:40. Potluck lunch follows Divine Liturgy. All foods ok – last day for meat before the start of Great Lent.

February 21, Saturday evening – Great Vespers at 5:30.

February 22 , Sunday morning Divine Liturgy for Forgiveness Sunday / Cheesefare Sunday at 10:00. Hours starting at 9:40. Potluck lunch follows Divine Liturgy. Please no meat. Fish, eggs and dairy ok – last day for fish, eggs and dairy before the start of Great Lent.

* Great Lent starts February 23.

* February 25, Wednesday evening Presanctified Liturgy at 6:00 pm. If receiving Holy Communion, please fast after a light lunch.

February 28, Saturday evening – Great Vespers at 5:30.

March 1 , Sunday morning Divine Liturgy for Sunday of Orthodoxy at 10:00. Hours starting at 9:40. Potluck lunch follows Divine Liturgy. Please no meat, fish, eggs and dairy.
